JPEA announces a new vision! By 2050, solar power will reach 30% of total demand.The new vision points out that the transition to renewable energy is progressing faster than expected, and the COVID-19 pandemic is positioned as a turning point in the new energy society.
JPEA announced PV OUTLOOK 2050 on May 18, "Overcoming the COVID-19 and Creating a New Society". This vision uniquely shows JPEA's outlook on Japan's current solar energy situation and is regularly released. The previously announced vision was "The Dawn of Solar Power Generation in 2050" in June 2017.
